Kalifornia: Security Threat
Two days prior to the second 9-11 anniversary, Governor Gray (Gray Out) Davis signed a bill that authorized the
Kalifornia Department of Transportation to issue driver’s licenses to illegal aliens. There have always been low-down, belly
slithering smarmy politicians, but Davis seems to have reached a new low on the smarmy meter.
Unless you’ve been living in a hole, everyone knows that for the first time in history Kalifornia has triggered a recall
election for Gray Davis, and Arnold (The Governator) Schwarzenegger is gunning for Gray’s job. Gray needs votes to defeat
the recall, and he has no scruples about how or where he gains those votes.
Gray and the Kalifornia legislature are simply building upon another flawed law called Motor-Voter and euphemistically
named the National Voter Registration Act. Sounds very American—after all, who could oppose voting? Basically, the Act
assumes that if people are issued new or renewed driver’s licenses, then they should register to vote the next time.
A driver’s license has become the de facto internal American passport: Think about it: I can use a driver’s license to
board an airplane; to verify my identification for credit card purchases; to purchase a hand gun I need to produce a driver’s
license and a purchase permit; I am required to carry a driver’s license and my carry permit when I pack a concealed weapon
in public; oh yes! I need one when I drive a vehicle.
There is one other time I use a driver’s license—when I vote. I use it to prove I live inside the political boundaries for
the election. However does the possession of a driver’s license convey the right to vote? No.
The right to vote is conveyed by citizenship.
Gray Davis wants to get around this inconvenient fact. As a boon to the Hispanic population, Gray signed the bill into
law, hoping to encourage newly issued illegals to vote for him. It is as callous and cynical as that. By the way, this was the
unspoken agenda behind the Motor-Voter law at the federal level. Of course, those who support such ill conceived laws
promote them using words like freedom and liberty instead of fraud and larceny.
A driver’s license is used as a form of identification throughout the country. Some of those transactions are security
related, but the Kalifornia law does nothing to identify citizen or non-citizen. So ask yourself a couple of questions:
To me this is further proof as to why the left can not be trusted with security related matters. They simply do not
seriously believe that WE ARE A NATION AT WAR. If you get nothing else out of anything I have written, understand this:
The war on terror is at its core a war between Judea/Christian and fanatical Islamic civilizations. Only one will survive, and I
intend to be one of the survivors.
Of course, you may dismiss Gray Davis’s actions as the frivolous meanderings of a desperate politician, but those are
the kinds of actions that put people at risk and ultimately get people killed.
How the rest of the country deals with the irresponsible actions of the Kalifornia state government will unfold over time.
However, the first shots against those who wish to tear down our country did not come from Washington or your State Capitol.
They came over a lonely farm field in Pennsylvania when the passengers of Flight 93 decided their fate and stopped the fourth
plane from hitting another target.
Perhaps in another time, the rest of us could go about our business and ignore the self-servicing, pompous acts of a
desperate state, but this isn’t another time and Kalifornia’s actions impact all of us.
By the way, I know California is not spelled with a K, but Gray Davis and his cronies probably spell America:
Amerika. Certainly their actions pay no respect to people fighting this war.
