Zero Point Energy
I preface this, because Nick Cook’s book challenges your perceptions of the scientific world. By the way, Nick Cook is the aviation Editor for Jane’s defense Weekly, so he knows a thing or two about aviation.

The Hunt for Zero Point is both a scientific mystery and a glimpse into the world of black projects. Suppose someone along the way figured out how to negate or manipulate gravity. The effect would be to render everything we know about aviation obsolete. Take idea a bit further, and you have weapon and technology potentials that leaves everything and everyone way behind the power curve.

After reading Nick Cook’s book and investigating other sources, there is enough here to get me thinking out of the box. It is is a fascinating journey.
Recently I was introduced to the book The Hunt for Zero Point by Nick Cook. The cover is a combination of a saucer and a man in a pressure suit. Okay, lest you think I am about to embark on a tale of little green men and fly saucers, let me set the record straight. I think little green men and space invaders make for terrific fiction such as War of the Worlds, Independence Day, Aliens and so forth. Do I believe we have been visited by aliens, or that E.T. is watching us? In a word: No.
